Yixin Vegetarian @ Bedok (一心素小厨)

I knew about this place as my parents have gone there before and was telling me that the chef used to be working at the Kingsland Vegetarian Restaurant which has since closed down. I have no idea if they are in any relation to Yi Xin at Chinatown or not ...Anyway, pictures are taken from wingls as he has been here too!
This stall sells quite a wide variety of food ranging from economic mixed vegetables rice to Tze Char, set meals, cakes & pastries.

Sambal Kang Kong

Looks appealing. My parents mentioned that the vegetables are tasty but a little bland, but definitely much healthier as there was not much oil/msg in the cooking.

Abalone Mushrooms

Wow! I'll definitely try this out.. looks like the "nai you tian ji" from my favourite tze char stall in AMK.

I do not have prices of the dishes above, but the set meals are priced between $3.50 - $4, and served with a soup. Im pretty amazed that they even have a nicely done website. Hope that the business lasts in view of the stiff competition in Bedok!
